Population and Immigration Authority — Naturalization application for permanent residents married to Israeli citizens

Permanent residents who are married to Israeli citizens can apply to be naturalized (receive Israeli citizenship). You must be physically in Israel to apply.

  1. Download, print, and fill in the Application for Naturalization form (AZ21): https://www.gov.il/BlobFolder/generalpage/services_forms/he/AZ21.pdf
  2. Apply in person, together with your required documents, at your local Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) office: https://www.gov.il/en/departments/Bureaus?OfficeId=95b283ad-fc02-40e6-ac6f-8986acac6b86
  3. At the time of application, you will be required to complete and submit the relevant declarations.
